Following this weeks committee meeting .........

The timetable just needs a few tweaks then it is ready for each band to be advised of their performance slot. This will happen after the weekend (got the Area Championships to play in first!!).

The form for sponsors and advertisers to complete is ready to be taken around and will also be available to download from the website.

We spent quite a lot of time discussing what happens after the main event in July. Yes, there is the Pershore Prom event and the Autumn Concert, but the committee who run everything is very small and not getting any younger - 3 of the members are over 70 and another 2 ready to retire. What do we do? Last year the message from the Chairman in the programme suggested anyone interested could shadow us to see what was involved but there was no response. The committee meets once a month for about an hour and a half and the actions to run the events are clear so it would be easy for willing volunteers to step in at this point to shadow. Please think hard to see if you, or someone you know, could join us. The current committee is a welcome mix of band members and those who do not play but want to support the event to continue, so all are welcome.

Next meeting is 7th April - let us know if you would like to come along to see what happens!
